On their own, the readings are just numbers. Whether 12 m³ of cold water in flat 5/3 is a lot or a little only becomes clear when you compare it with the other flats.
FOSZTER does exactly this. It colors each flat relative to the consumption pattern of the whole building: pale colors show the normal range, strong colors the outliers. A thick red border marks the flats that truly stand out.
Without scanning a single table you can see something is off in flat 5/3. A burst pipe? A tenant change? A faulty meter? You know where the technician should go — before the owner even calls.
The quarterly statement used to be half a day's work: going through the spreadsheet, gathering the meter values, formatting a Word template. And then it turns out flat 3 on the 5th floor slipped by one row.
The PDF report wizard cuts this down to minutes. You set your own details in the header once — name, phone, email — and choose what goes into the report:

The open-source wmbusmeters project's reference set — 92 telegrams, 54 unique meter types, 14+ meter categories, across all three wM-Bus modulation modes (T1, C1, S1).
The cross-section covers devices from 20+ manufacturers: water, heat, heat-cost allocators, electricity, gas and room sensors — an industry-representative sample of what is on the market.
The parser is compared against a known-good output for every telegram. The test is deterministic and reproducible at any time — it re-runs on every new release.

MeterHawk began as a prototype in April 2026 and, through seven months of continuous work by a single developer — Zoltán Ujvári — grew into market-ready software. Support for seven manufacturers, three antennas, five languages, one installer.
The solutions on the market are mostly manufacturer-locked, foreign-language and expensive. MeterHawk fills that gap: shaped by real fieldwork.
MeterHawk is living software. New meter types, new manufacturer support, refined algorithms — continuously. Development priorities come from fieldwork, not a marketing plan.

It started with a simple question: I wanted software to comfortably read wM-Bus meters from different manufacturers, in my own language. I could not find one. There were foreign tools — manufacturer-locked, in a foreign language, and usually scaled for large enterprises.
Either I wait for someone to build one — or I build it myself.
In early April I wrote the first prototype on my own laptop. Seven months later it already supported seven manufacturers, three antennas, five languages, and features refined from real fieldwork: the EELTS System, the FOSZTER heat-map, the PDF report wizard. With a focused interface, tested in real buildings.
MeterHawk is not a corporate brand. It is the independent product of a single developer who works in the metering industry every day and answered exactly the challenges he sees himself.
If you manage hundreds of buildings with a large organisation, an enterprise-grade system will give you more automation and integration than a desktop tool can.
If you read meters from a single manufacturer only, that manufacturer's own software may be enough — you need not pay for independence.
